KSMS students take up brooms to mark Labour Day

Jamshedpur, May 3: May Day or the International Workers’ Day which is also known as Labour Day in some countries is celebrated on 1st May every year.

Interactors of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) celebrated the day with the support staff of the school.

Different cultural programs were put up by students for school workers. Songs, dance and powerpoint presentation expressed the valuable contribution of the workers in smooth functioning of school.

On this day students of the school took care of all routine functions performed by the “Didis and Bhaiyas’ including ringing bell, serving tea, giving water to plants, taking care of main entrance in the school etc.

Nothing is left out to make them feel special and the school thanked them for their contribution in functioning of the school.

The motto behind celebration of the day is to make students aware of their importance in the school and also to sensitize the relation of love and respect towards each other.

School management thanked them by giving them a token of love in form of gifts. The entire event was supported by principal of the school Nandini Shukla.
