Jamshedpur: The additional deputy commissioner (ADC) of East Singhbhum Sunil Kumar and SDO of Dhalbhum Prem Ranjan today inspected Sidhgora, Sakchi and Bistupur markets constructed on sairat land leased to Tata Steel.
The inspection was made in view of the application submitted with the district administration by Tata Steel for the renewal of lease of the sairat land on which markets have been built.
The ADC said the district administration wanted to find out the present status of the markets on the leased land.
Several discrepancies were found and illegal structures were also found at several places. The ADC said the final report of the inspection will be handed over to the DC for necessary action.
Sources said the lease of Sidhgora, Baridih, Sakchi and Bistupur markets have expired and now a fresh application for lease renewal has been submitted before the district administration.
