Jamshedpur, July 2: The city’s most celebrated summer attraction, Fun World Disneyland, located at Mango Orchard, Sakchi, is now just four days away from its grand conclusion on 6th July 2025. As the closing date nears, massive crowds have been flocking to enjoy the remaining days of this spectacular fair, which has once again brought vibrant entertainment for both children and adults alike.
Organiser Chandrashekhar Parvat said, “Every year, during the summer break, we bring a unique and joyous experience for all age groups. This year’s main attraction—the ‘Tsunami Ride’—has become extremely popular among kids.”
Adding to the novelty, the fair features a life-size replica of the entrance to a Singapore Airlines aircraft, being showcased for the first time in the city, drawing large numbers of curious visitors.
The Fun World Disneyland also offers a cultural experience, showcasing the essence of ‘Mini India’ through traditional handicrafts, regional attire and handcrafted items from various states. “It is not just a fair but a livelihood platform for hundreds of skilled unemployed artisans and vendors,” Parvat added.
Apart from crowd-favourites like Tora Tora, Revolving Chair rides and other thrilling amusements, Disneyland also boasts stalls offering handicraft goods, cotton garments, ethnic wear and furniture, making it a one-stop destination for both entertainment and shopping.
Visitors are also indulging in a variety of flavoursome snacks and regional delicacies, making this event a complete family outing. Parvat remarked, “Every purchase here supports the livelihood of skilled but unemployed youth who create these products.”
For the people of Jamshedpur and neighbouring regions, Disneyland Fun World remains an eagerly awaited annual affair—offering fun, food, shopping and a sense of community.
