Hemant govt’s budget far from reality: Dinesh Kumar

Jamshedpur: Former district president of the BJP’s Jamshedpur unit, Dinesh Kumar, has strongly criticised the Jharkhand Budget 2026–27, terming it “directionless and anti-people.” He alleged that the state government has attempted to mislead the public through big announcements and attractive schemes, while failing to address the real challenges faced by the people.

Taking a dig at the government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Kumar said that the budget lacks practical vision and does not reflect the ground realities of the state. He claimed that crucial issues such as unemployment, industrial migration, power crisis, and deteriorating law and order have been ignored.

He further alleged that there is no clear policy framework for capital investment or for encouraging private industries in the state. According to him, the budget fails to provide any concrete relief to youth, traders, and the middle class.

Dinesh Kumar also termed the budget a “political document,” prepared with an eye on upcoming elections rather than focusing on development. He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party would oppose the budget in the interest of the public and continue to raise these issues at various platforms.
