Dhanbad cricketer Anandita Kishor selected in India squad for U-19 Asia Cup

Dhanbad, Dec 13: Emerging cricketer Anandita Kishor has been selected to represent India in the U-19 Women Asia Cup tournament, scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 15. Anandita, an all-rounder, will be a part of the Indian Under-19 team, which has been placed in Group A, alongside teams from Pakistan and Nepal. Group B will feature Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. The Indian team will begin their campaign with a match against Pakistan on December 15, followed by a game against Nepal on December 17. The final match of the tournament is set for December 22.

Born on March 17, 2006, in Dhanbad, Anandita has made a mark as a promising all-rounder. She has scored 1371 runs in 55 matches, with a highest score of 135* not out. In bowling, she has taken 37 wickets, with her best performance being 3 wickets for 15 runs. This selection marks a significant milestone in her budding cricket career.
