Dhamakbera villagers running school against merger

Jamshedpur: The villagers of Dhamakbera in Galudih under Ghatsila subdivision are running a school on their own to protest merger of the local government primary school by the state education department.
According to the villagers, the local school was merged with Rajabasa Primary School on 31st April last. Despite repeated requests, the merger was not revoked. When the villagers were left with no choice, they decided to run a school on their own with the help of school management committee president Bhanu Karmakar and a local guardian Rajni Kant Mahato.
