Dhalbhumgarh block logs first Covid case

Jamshedpur, Apr 4: Dhalbhumgarh block in East Singhbhum district registered it’s first Covid-19 positive case in the second wave of the infection on Sunday. The person who had returned from Bokaro underwent Covid-19 test at the community health centre in Dhalbhumgarh and was found positive. 
The incident commander-cum-BDO Shalini Khalko directed for home quarantine of all the family members and shifted the affected patient to MGM Hospital Covid ward. The person a native of Samka village under Jugishole panchayat of Dhalbhumgarh used to work in Bokaro  and had returned from Bokaro on April 2 night and on the next day went for Covid test..
The incident commander said that there are no houses in the 50 meter radius of the affected family house and hence there was no need to set up containment zone and all the family members would undergo Covid test.
