Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) general secretary Abhay Singh on Thursday slammed the Raghubar Das led Jharkhand government of giving a lollipop of fake promises to the people of the state. Addressing a press conference at his Saatchi office on Friday, Singh said, “With the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections, BJP government is trying to lure the people by announcing the date of the foundation laying of Dhalbhumgarh Airport and giving sub lease rights to the lease holders”.
He attacked the government at the centre and state of hurrying up with inauguration and foundation laying of development projects. “For the Dhalbhumgarh airport neither the tender has been released nor the venue has been finalised but under what circumstances the state government is preparing for the foundation laying ceremony”. He further said that when people of CM Raghubar Das’ assembly area constituency have still not received a land on lease so how come lease holders will get sub lease rights. It is nothing more than false promises and they are trying to lure the vote bank.
When asked about the Jharkhand opposition grand alliance, JVM leader there is no truth about the reports published in the newspapers today. “I was present at the opposition meeting in Ranchi on January 17 and all the party leaders were satisfied with the formation of grand alliance in Jharkhand both for the Lok Sabha and assembly elections but the leader is still not decided. First the parties will hold meetings after which the leader of the grand alliance will be chosen”, added Singh.
