DGP demands 200 PCR vans from Tata Steel

Jamshedpur, Sept 12: Jharkhand DGP DK Pandey demanded 200 hi-tech PCR vans from Tata Steel.

During the launch of PPP mode Augmented City Surveillance and Response Capability initiative for better policing in Jamshedpur, Police Chief said, Tata Steel has given a lot to the city but to make policing better Tata Steel should provide helping hand so that every city of Jharkhand gets better policing system.

He said that itís not a big deal for the steel major and it would send a message to the entire country.

DGP urged Tata Steel should help install CCTV cameras at every city intersection and crowded places to make Jamshedpur crime free.

Though Sunil Bhaskaran didnít react but assured to take his words to the top company management.
