Jamshedpur, Jan 1: Shri Shyam Kala Bhawan Chandil, was the venue for all devotees of the Lord to share their joys with Shri Shyam beginning with New Year eve as bhajan singers Giri Kundu, Bhauja Khan, Pawan Jha and Ramu Khan enthralled the devotees with their melodious renditions in a manner that the mesmerized Shyam devotees danced in religious frenzy. At the stroke of midnight, the devotees ushered in the New Year by cutting a fruit cake and bursting firecrackers.
Earlier, the programme commenced with prayers to Baba Shyam offered by temple priest, Subhash Sharma. Bhog was offered to Baba Shyam for consecration. The temple was richly decorated with flowers and coloured lights. The huge crowd of Shyam devotees present on the occasion included Durga Chowdhary, Sanjay Chowdhary, Shravan Jalan, Chandan Rungta, Rajiv Sao, Monty Chowdhary, Amit Kejriwal, Mayank Rungta and Bhupesh Verma
