Ranchi: Congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Mr. Arun Jaitely on the budget, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the Union government has presented a �marvelously� developmental budget despite so many challenges.
He said that the government has focused on increasing poor people�s income and social security. �This budget is transparent, inspiring and economic management oriented. Jharkhand will get AIIMS and farmers, villages, youths, poor people and women have been considered in the budget. 1 cr. houses will be made for the poor and 1 cr. families and 50 thousand panchayats will be brought above poverty line.�
Speaking on the highlights of the budget, Das further added, �By May 2018, all villages will be electrified and 28 thousand arsenic and fluoride affected villages will be provided clean drinking water. This year, Rs. 10 lakh crore loan will be given to the farmers. Rs. 1 cr 84 lakh has been provisioned for women and children. A big amount is expensed on infrastructural development. Aadhar based smart card will be made for the senior citizens.�
The CM said that in order to rein in black money and contribution funds, provision has been made. 3.5 cr. youths will be given market based training. Middle and small scale industries have been considered and middle class people are given rebate in income tax. No new tax has been implemented which show the new dawn.
