Ranchi: Renowned mythologist Devdutt Patnaik made thought-provoking statements at the Tata Steel Jharkhand Literary Meet, emphasizing the limitations of science in addressing fundamental questions. Speaking candidly, he asserted that while science can elevate pride, it falls short in providing answers to the profound “why.”

Patnaik, known for his insightful analyses of religious and mythological themes, cautioned against overestimating the significance of science. He expressed his views during the release of his book “Baahubali: 63 Insights into Jainism” at the literary event.
