Jamshedpur, Aug 14: The East Singhbhum district administration has urged citizens not to use plastic flags on the occasion of Independence Day celebrations for that would be a violation of the Flag Code of India Act � 2002.
The citizens were also advised by the district administration not to use masks depicting the tricolor of the national flag but invariably use other face masks.
It is compulsory that citizens should respect the national flag and abide by the Flag Code.
