Jamshedpur: Mango Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Krishna Kumar on Tuesday inspected the premises of MGM Medical College and Hospital to review civic amenities and ensure smooth public services.
The primary objective of the visit was to assess the condition of the community toilet operated by the Mango Municipal Corporation inside the MGM campus.
He reviewed the cleanliness and directed staff to ensure that patients and visitors do not face any inconvenience.
Kumar also checked the progress made on previous instructions issued regarding sanitation.
Review of Ongoing Construction Work
During the inspection, the Deputy Municipal Commissioner examined the progress of the under-construction Water Treatment Plant (WTP) within the hospital premises. He instructed engineers to expedite the work and complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.
Meeting with Hospital Superintendent
Following the inspection, Krishna Kumar held a crucial meeting with the hospital superintendent and the Director of NEP.
The discussion focused on the operation and maintenance strategy for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and the Sewerage Treatment Plant (STP).
He directed officials to prepare and submit a detailed estimate for the operation and maintenance of both plants within two days.
Assistant Engineer Mayank Mishra, Junior Engineer Mukul Anand, Jalaluddin Ansari, and other corporation officials were also present during the visit.
