Jamshedpur, June 3: With the parliamentary election results looming, District Election Officer Ananya Mittal and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal conducted a thorough inspection of the counting center at Co-operative College Jamshedpur. Their visit aimed to ensure meticulous preparations and provide necessary instructions for the smooth, transparent, and impartial counting of votes, scheduled to commence at 8 am on June 4.

During the inspection, Mittal and Kaushal scrutinized various aspects of the counting process, including table arrangements, computer installations, internet connectivity, and security measures. They interacted with assigned officers and personnel, seeking detailed information on arrangements and issuing directives to ensure adherence to Election Commission guidelines.

Emphasizing the importance of punctuality, Mittal instructed counting personnel to report at the center by 5:30 am without fail, underscoring the need for timely commencement of the counting process. Additionally, guidelines were issued for the efficient functioning of the media center, emphasizing the dissemination of accurate information to the public.

All officers and personnel involved in the counting process were reminded to strictly adhere to Election Commission guidelines to uphold the integrity and transparency of the electoral process.
