Dengue larvae found in Jamshedpur, Rs 10,000 fine imposed

Jamshedpur, August 26: With the rising dengue outbreak, Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal has directed that inspections be increased and fines be imposed on locations where dengue larvae were found. Following these instructions, a surprise inspection by a Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) team led by Deputy Municipal Commissioner Krishna Kumar discovered dengue larvae in the basement of a building in Kadma. A fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed. Post-fine, anti-larvae spraying were conducted, and a warning was issued that strict action would be taken if larvae were detected again in future
