Chaibasa, March 21: Manki Munda Sang, Mahi Pargana, Adivasi Bhumij Sardar Samaj and CNT-SPT Act coordinating committee jointly organized a gathering (Mahajutan) at Gandhi Maidan in Chaibasa on Tuesday demanding roll back in the amendments in CNT-SPT act and scrapping of domicile policy.
The delegates submitted a memorandum to deputy commissioner addressed to the President of India. Later, during the meeting it was unanimously declared that the agitation would continue until the government scarps the domicile policy and roll back the amendments done in CNT-SPT land acts.
They also decided to meet the chief minister very soon in this regard. Present on the occasion were Yugal kishore, Devendra Champia, Mangal Singh Bobonga and hundreds of people from West Singbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and East Singhbhum district.
