Jamshedpur, June 14: A BJP delegation led by Dinesh Kumar met East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Dr. Amitabh Kaushal and demanded the renovation of the Primary School in Kanubhatta in Bhuiyadih.
The building of this school is in a dilapidated state.
The delegation also submitted a memorandum to DC stating that the school building, which was constructed with the help of locals of the area 40 years back, is currently being operated under Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojana since the year 2002.
The students of the school are compelled to study in a hut. At the time of rain, there are chances that the building might collapse leading to a big mishap.
Later talking to the media, Dinesh Kumar said, “As the matter came into light, we decided to meet the DC and ask him to help revamp the school building.
Soon we will launch awareness drive and prepare a list of schools in Jamshedpur which are under dilapidated condition and submit the list to the concerned officials for their renovation so that the students get quality education.”
Vimal Baitha, Vishu Singh, Chandan Bhuiyan, Amarjeet Singh Raja, Bunty Agarwal, Hemant Sahu and others were a part of the delegation that met the DC.
