Demand for train halt at Kandra

Seraikela, Feb 6: Public representatives and locals submitted a memorandum addressed to the divisional railway manager demanding stoppage of Covid-19 special passenger train at Kandra station in Seraikela-Kharswan district.

The memorandum states that like on earlier occasion, Durg-Danapur South Bihar Express and Tata Katihar Express train used to halt at Kandra station and when they were resumed after Covid-19 their halt at Kandra station was stopped as a result people have to now go 20 km away to catch train at Tatanagar Station and since Kandra is an industrial area train should be halted at the station too.  It expresses dismay that no express train currently has a stoppage at Kandra station.
