Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Teli Samaj has demanded a government job and a compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the kin of Krishna Sao, the Congress leader shot dead by Naxalites in Dhambhumgarh recently.

The outfit members met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum on Monday in this regard and handed over a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Hemant Soren to him.

The state secretary of the outfit Mohan Sao said Krishna Sao was killed as a result of police inaction.

He said the Teli community would launch agitation in case their demands were not fulfilled.
