Jamshedpur: Dekho to Daro Mat club won the one day football tournament organized by Carrage Boys Club (CBC) at football ground in Carrage Colony.
In the final match Dekho to Daro Mat club beat Rakesh brothers by 3-0 while in the third place match Jai Maa Mangla Club defeated Kingson Telco in toss to receive cash award of Rs 10000.
Bandi, the midfielder of Kingson Club was declared the player of the tournament while Babu of Rakesh Brothers was awarded the goalkeeper of the tournament.
Jamshedpur MP Vidhyut Varan Mahato gave the prizes to the winners and runners up were BJP district president Nandjee Prasad, District General Secretary of BJYM Pappu Rao, BJP leader Yugal Kishore Mukhi (Pappu), Stephen, Kamal Mahato, BN Patar, Shambu Mukhi and others were present on the occasion.
Winner team walked away with cash price of Rs 35000 while runners up grabbed Rs 20000, third place team got Rs 10000 and fourth place team received Rs 5000. Along with this player of the tournament received a bicycle while best goalkeeper got a mobile phone. Earlier in the day AJSU leader Astik Mahato kicked off the event.
Match referees for the event were Md. Alam, Md. Akil and Md. Abid. During the prize distribuation function senior footballer of Carrage Colony N lanka and Kabir Da were also felicitated by MP.
