Jamshedpur, Sept 8: An inter- house Declamation competition for students between Standards IX and Xll was organized at RVS Academy on Friday, September 8 on the occasion of Thakur Siroman Singh’s death anniversary .The objective of this event was to instil confidence In the children and ensure their all- round development .
Homage was paid to Thakur Siromon Singh. The Chairman of RVS Academy, Binda Singh, Principal, Veesha Mohindra and Vice Principal, Anita Tiwary were specially present on the occasion.
The competition was divided into two that included the Junior segment comprising students of Standards IX and X and the Senior group that included competitors from Standards XI and Xll. The students delivered speeches of eminent persons while bringing out the essence of their thoughts. The judges for the competition were teachers Aarti Verma and Sonali Sen.
Chairman Binda Singh congratulated the students for their commendable efforts. Principal Veesha Mohindra appreciated the students for their commendable performances and encouraged them to participate in such events in future.
The winners in the Junior Category were Riya Sharma (first), Afifa Baig (second) and Samridhi Singh (third).
In the Senior Category, the top three were Yasmeen Tabassum (first), Drishti Dutta (second) and Rimsha Qaiser (third).
