Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader and the MLA of Ichagarh Arvind Singh today said he would be quitting the party and joining another undisclosed party on 13th October in Ranchi.
The legislator, commenting on reports on his having resigned from JVM, said he was still in the JVM at present and that any decision regarding his quitting the party would be taken during a meeting of party dissidents in the state Capital.
I will be leaving JVM and joining another party. But so far I have not resigned. I am still its part. A decision on joining another political party will be taken and disclosed only after the meeting of dissident JVM leaders, said the legislator.
Reports about the Ichagarh legislators kept doing the rounds in the state Capital and in the city on Friday. However the JVM leaders did not speak on the issue while claiming ignorance on the same.
Sources said Arvind Singh was likely to join Jharkhand Mukti Morcha as was evident from his recent statements and hints of JMM leaders.
However the MLA had earlier said that both Congress and BJP leaders were in touch with him for the last several months.
