Jamshedpur: State Congress persident Sukhdev Bhagat today said that the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had entered into an agreement to field their respective candidates on 10 and 4 Lok Sabha seats of the state respectively.
He said a final decision regarding allocation of seats between the allies will be taken after the celebration of statehood day on 15th November. He said feedbacks were being taken from different areas of the state regarding the allocation of seats. Bhagat was talking to mediapersons at Circuit House.
Bhagat said the state government led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren and supported by the Congress had completed 100 days. He said the government could be termed as a successful one.
He said the extension of the state Cabinet thrice caused little problems, but things had fallen into place once again. He said the ministers of the state Cabinet and the allies were working with full cooperation and mutual trust. He said development works were going on in full swing and without hassles.
Bhagat said there will be no impact of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi in the state during the elections. He said the Bharatiya Janata Party was so much ridden with internal disputes and differences that it had no potential or courage to present a formidable threat to the Congress.
He said the organizational differences in the BJP were neither acceptable to the party itself nor the country.
The Congress president said the state government had done a lot of development works in the 100 days of its existence. He said much was to be done in the state and it all depended on the will of the people of the state who were now fed up with many problems facing them.
