Jamshedpur, July 14 : East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Vijaya Jadhav said it is necessary to make people aware about making birth and death certificates. Both these certificates are very important.
She said a special campaign is being run in the district from July 14 to August 14 (one month).
She flagged off two awareness chariots from the District Collectorate and told that people of rural areas do not give importance to both the certificates. Due to which they are deprived of many schemes.
An awareness chariot has been sent to make them aware of the simple process of making it. Along with this, necessary instructions have been issued to all concerned officials.
In case of suspicious death, a death certificate will be issued on the basis of post mortem report. Similarly, before a woman reaches the hospital or in the event of a child being born at home, birth certificate will be issued by the local MOIC or medical institution.
On the other hand, the Deputy Development Commissioner spoke through video conferencing with Civil Surgeon, Superintendent of MGM Hospital, all Block Development Officers, Medical Officers of all blocks and other registration units regarding the issue of birth and death certificates on Friday.
Instruction was given to make the campaign successful and to execute the works promptly. He told that a total of 38500 birth registration forms and 11000 form two (death registration form) have been made available to the registration units from the District Statistics Office

Well done Madam. If she will be here for a minimum period of 05 years she will change the look of Jamshedpur and Mango. She will tight administration officials to work honestly. Media please focus on Sakshi bus stand. Very bad situation. No basic amenities at BS. No safety after 6pm. No computerised ticket booking counters. Passengers are not covered insurance. Majority of buses do not have legal documents like FC, PC, etc.
