Jamshedpur, Nov 11: The lifeless body of a middle-aged man was discovered hanging from a tree on the riverbank near Workers College under the Mango police station.
Those who had gone to the river for a morning bath on Saturday noticed the body and promptly informed the police. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the location, untied the body from the noose, and sent it for post-mortem examination.
Currently, the identity of the deceased remains unknown, with an estimated age of around 45. Eyewitnesses reported that they found the body while going for a morning river bath. The deceased had hanged himself using a towel. The police are currently engaged in the process of identification.
