Jamshedpur, August 18: Dead body of a girl child missing from her house for the last two days was found from the chhath ghat near Biseshwar Khan Maidan under Sidhgora Police Station on Thursday morning.
As a local resident spotted Mahi’s body lying the news spread like wild fire and hundreds of people gathered at the spot. Soon police arrived at the spot took the body under its possession and sent it for postmortem to MGM. The police has started the investigation.
According to reports, Mahi was a resident of Biseshwar Khan bagan and was missing from her house for the last two days. Her family members had tried all help to find out Mahi but were not successful.
When on Thursday morning they heard about a dead body being lying in the ghat nearby and when they reached the spot they found Mahi’s dead body lying.
One of the family members said that no barricade at the chhath ghat has led to the incident.
