Sensation grips city
Jamshedpur : Recovery of dead bodies of an 18-yearold youth and a 28-year-old woman found in separate
places along the Marine Drive under Kadma police station area, has gripped sensation across the city.
The police have found the body of the teen-aged youth Raja Singh hanging near a LPG godown along the marine drive, while the body of the woman identified as Asha Devi was recovered from her house at Jaki Bhatta along the Marine Drive road under mysterious condition at Kadma.
The youth identified as Raja Singh’s body was found hanging from a tree near the gas godown. According to the family of the deceased youth said that he had left house at night at around 10 PM after receiving a call.
After he did not return the family members searched for him throughout the night however some youths came to inform them that Raja’s body was hanging near the gas godown.
Kartik said that Raja was the only child of his parents and had lots of friends in neighborhood. He pointed out that there was nothing suspicious in Raja’s behaviour and that he had even taken his dinner before going out of the house last night.
Sub-inspector Arjun Singh Yadav of the Kadma police station said that as per initial investigation it seems to be a case of suicide, they also did not rule out murder angle behind the youth’s death.
The police were also investigating the reasons behind 28-year-old woman’s death.
