Jamshedpur, Oct 12: DDC East Singhbhum B Maheshwari presided a meeting to review the distribution of scholarships among pre metric students and bicycles to students of class VIII.
The department has received Block wise data SC, ST, OBC and minority communities� students adding upto 1,09,000. 40, 021 students have been paid their scholarship amounts vide the Welfare portal to their bank accounts through PFMS mode. MEP mapping for the remaining students is being done after which their data will be uploaded in the portal for disbursement of scholarship.
Similarly 8,295 bicycles had been distributed among 648 SC, 3,985 ST, 3,600 among OBC and 62 among minority communities� students. The DDC directed all BEEOs at the meeting to provide data of all class 1 students within a week.
