DDC convenes meeting on minority scholarship

Jamshedpur, Aug 27: East Singhbhum deputy development commissioner (DDC) B Maheshwari convened a meeting on central plan minority scholarship on Tuesday. He said the last dates for applications for pre-Matric and post-Matric minority students are 15^th October and 31^st October respectively. The benefits of the scheme would be available to Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Budhists, Jains and Parsis depending on their eligibility. District welfare department would conduct physical verification of all applications and send the report to the government.

District Welfare Officer and other government officials were present during the meeting.
