Ranchi, Aug. 17: Reviewing the grievances of the people with respect to delay in compensation appointment at Mukhyamantri Jan Samvad, Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal said that DCs will hold Zila Anukampa Samitiís meeting every month. Along with Joint Sec Mr.
Pramod Kr. Tiwari, Mr. Barnwal reviewed 17 cases at Soochana Bhawan, Ranchi.
Expressing resentment over delay on appointing the dependent of tax collector of Lohardaga Nagar Parishad Sudama Mahto after his death, Mr. Barnwal said that nobody is taking care of the file for four months.
It will not be tolerated. Now the DCs will have to explain why the files get delayed. In respect with compensation appointment of Atul Patar, the brother of Rammohan Patar who was killed in naxal attack at Bundu, it was said that
that the process to appoint him a Revenue Division has been completed and his certificates are scrutinized. The Sec directed to assure his appointment in a week.
In connection with encroachment of govt. land (gair majarua) at Lavalong block in Chatra after two years, Barnwal said that the encroachment should be removed in a week or action will be taken on the CO. The Chatra DC was
intimated through a letter to remove all sort of encroachment. He also directed to identify the responsible persons who got 11.38 acres of gair majarua land settled in their names.
It was reported that charge has been made on the CO under format A and sent to the personnel Dept. On the other hand, the officers were directed to remove encroachment from the govt.
road at Jhikharati in Pakur by 23rd August.
In connection with no arrest of accused of killing of a girl student of Kasturba Gandhi school at Baghima, Palakot in Gumla, the Sec ordered to suspend the then police officer Nityanand Mahto and run departmental proceeding over him.
Barnwal asked to identify everyone who derelicted his duties, even the DSP should not be spared if proved irresponsible.
He also directed to arrest the accused of rape at Patratu, Ramgarh without any delay.
Moreover, a show cause has been issued to SDO with respect to submitting unsigned investigation report of construction of Panchayat Building at Haidernagar, Hussainabad, Palamu.
It has been asked whether he investigated himself or got it investigated by others. He is asked why an incomplete work has been shown as complete.
Regarding land transferred to SIRD, it was told that the matter is pending with various courts and anything can be done after the judgment of the court.
He also directed to pay the dues of retired medical officer Mahendra Kr. Jayant of Bokaro.
Apart from this the grievances of teacher Gokulanand Sharma, Mahendra Goswami and Manoj Kr. Sharma were also reviewed and redressed in the Jan Samvad.
