Seraikela: The deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Hansraj Singh paid a surprise inspection visit to Kharsawan Sadar Hospital and took stock of the health care facilities available there.
He talked to patients and staff of the hospital to find out if quality health care services were being provided to patients or not. He also asked patients if they were satisfied with the services or not. He came to know about the scarcity of manpower in the Sadar Hospital.
He assured to take up various issues related to shortage of manpower and other resources and asked the hospital staff to do their best to provide quality services to the patients.
Local residents said the district administration should take necessary steps to ensure quality improvement in health care facilities at the Sadar Hospital. They said the Hospital did not have various medicines and that it also needed sufficient number of doctors and other staff.
