New Delhi (IANS): In a grim escalation of the West Asia crisis, two Indian nationals were killed and several others injured in an attack in Sohar, Oman, on Friday. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) confirmed the casualties, stating that the Indian mission is working closely with local authorities and the victims’ employers to provide assistance.

MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased via social media. He confirmed that the Indian Embassy in Muscat is actively monitoring the situation and extending support to those injured in the industrial port city.
