DC takes stock of door-to-door garbage collection module

Jamshedpur, Oct 16: The Deputy Commissioner East Singhbhum presided a meeting of the executive officers and related personnel of JNAC, MNAC and Jugsalai Municipal Corporation to take updates on the door-to-door garbage collection program and issued orders on ensuring cent percent adherence to the move.

The officials of both the Notified Area Committees and the Municipal Corporation were also directed to spray disinfectants and insecticides in drains and open pot holes on a regular basis in view of the increasing cases of dengue and malaria being reported from city areas. They were also asked to carry out awareness drives against these diseases. The authorities of the three units were asked to provide daily updates of inspection reports of public toilets run by public or private organizations.

The DC also directed the officials concerned of the three city units to ensure completion of houses still under construction under PMAY. They were also directed that maximum people of Bagunhatu and Birsanagar received drinking water connection from the Moharda Water Tower Project.

Today�s meeting was attended by Special Officer JNAC, Executive Officer of MNAC, Executive Officer of Jugsalai Municipal Corporation and other officials.
