Seraikela: Seraikela-Kharsawan Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan on Monday reviewed the performance of various government departments in collecting revenue.
The DC said around Rs 83 lakh had been collected altogether in revenue by the various government departments in the current Financial Year till date. He further directed the electricity department officials to ensure regular inspection of various crusher units, industrial units and private households and establishments for power theft. A report of total electricity consumption has also been sought from the divisional executive engineer.
The DC issued a show-cause letter to the officials of Commercial Taxes department, Chaibasa Circle I, for remaining absent during the meeting.
