DC orders BDOs not to leave headquarters on Tuesdays

Jamshedpur: The deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum Dr Amitabh Kaushal has forwarded a circular of the state government to all officials of the district for strict compliance.

He has asked the block development officers (BDOs) of the district not to leave the district headquarters on Tuesday under any circumstances.

He said the various department officials had been asked to send detailed reports of applications received and cases disposed by them to the district office. Tuesday will be observed as Mukhyalaya Diwas (Headquarters Day).

�The officials concerned have been asked to make sure that no one is required to come to the block office a second time after submitting their applications,� the DC said.

The DC said the BDOs will make sure that all panchayat sevaks and jan sevaks remain in the headquarters. No meetings will be held on Tuesday. The complaints of villagers will be heard on that day and quick solution to the same will be provided to the villagers.

Counters will be opened at the block and circle offices to various certificates and solve problems of the people.
