Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi met citizens from various blocks and urban areas and listened to their issues, demands, and suggestions in detail during the Public Grievance Redressal Day organized at the Collectorate. The session saw a large turnout, with people raising a wide range of concerns affecting their daily lives.
The people submitted applications on matters such as pension approval, family harassment, shop allotment, road blockages, land disputes, forced installation of mobile towers in rural areas, availability of space for setting up Didi Cafes, medical assistance, encroachment on Raiyat land, benefits under the Abua Housing Scheme, employment-related issues, pending salary payments, Parshuram Bhawan, and e-tricycles, among several other public grievances.
The Deputy Commissioner examined every grievance and forwarded the applications to the respective departments and officials for appropriate action. He instructed officials of respective departments to ensure timely, transparent, and result-oriented action within the stipulated period. He emphasized that resolving people’s problems is the administration’s top priority and that no application should remain pending.
He further directed that officials must ensure quality disposal of cases and maintain accountability. Special monitoring will be conducted for matters of serious nature, and prompt corrective steps must be taken to deliver concrete outcomes. The Deputy Commissioner reassured citizens that the administration is committed to addressing their concerns effectively and without delay.
