DC launches Nirvaah, a magazine with CSR Index

Chaibasa, Jan.18: Deputy Commissioner of West Singhbhum Dr Shantanu Kumar Agrohari unveiled a magazine entitled Nirvaaha corporate social responsibility Index at DC office on Wednesday.

The Index was prepared by the District CSR committee, West Singhbhum. The book describes the index as one making the corporate companies accountable and motivating them to assume responsibility towards public welfare.

The most valuable part of the CSR Index is public perception. The Index would also help companies obtain score according to their performances.

According to the DC, those getting poor score would be dealt with seriously. A large number of corporate representatives and CSR committee members were present on the occasion.
