Jamshedpur: With the view to ensure transparency in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Election Commission of India has launched several mobile Apps including Suvidha mobile App. In order to ensure successful implementation of Suvidha App, East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner-cum-Returning Officer Amit Kumar convened a meeting on Friday. He informed all nodal officers about the App and its salient features. He nominated Deputy Development Commissioner B Maheshwari as the nodal officer of Suvidha App and directed him to set up a Suvidha cell. He said all candidates and political parties will have to apply through the Suvidha App for permission and information of various kinds related to the elections. Candidates will be able to know the status of their applications by using the App, he said.
Kumar said a meeting would be convened on 25th March to discuss Suvidha App features with all political parties and candidates.
