Seraikela: District administration of Seraikela-Kharsawan organized a janata durbar at the primary health centre in Kuchai here on Saturday.
The deputy commissioner Ramesh Gopal, superintendent of police Rakesh Bansal, deputy development commissioner Akansha Ranjan, and other administration officials were present on the occasion.
The DC heard the problems of the visitors to the janata durbar and took their complaints regarding various issues related to civic amenities.
He directed the authorities of various government departments to ensure prompt disposal of the complaints. Most of the complaints were related to education, health, drinking water and electricity supply.
The DC was informed by the villagers about the pending construction of toilets in Kuchai block. The villagers alleged that the work was pending for the last six years as the contractor concerned had reportedly embezzled the money.
