Chaibasa, Oct. 14: West Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shantanu Kumar Agrahari chaired a meeting of the child protection society at DC office on Friday.
DC asked the Child development authorities and welfare officers to constitute BCPU, and website portal for the children.He also asked the authorities to conduct workshop for the child related Sevikas.
He further asked to bring to the notice about CSWC,JJB, DSPU, BCPU child line and child helpline. �You must have sports facilities to have better and progressive life for the children, the authorities must keep vigil over child labour and human trafficking�, added DC. Present at the meeting were welfare officer Ajay Singh Braik, Child Development officer Mati Nitu and Sadar Police inspector KK Mahato.
