DC and SSP inspect final parade rehearsal for Independence Day in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, August 13: The final parade rehearsal was inspected on Sunday by the DC and SSP of East Singhbhum prior to the Independence Day celebrations to be held at the Gopal Maidan in Bistupur.

During the rehearsal, after the flag hoisting event, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the parade along with the Senior Superintendent of Police. Additional Development Commissioner Manish Kumar and other officials were also present on the occasion.

Various units participated in the final parade rehearsal, including segments from the District Police Force, Home Guards, NCC Boys and Girls Wing, Scouts and Guides Platoon, RAF contingent, and St Mary’s School Band.

The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of a grand celebration for the main event. He provided necessary directions to the officials present.  He also mentioned that this year, a cultural evening has been organized by the district administration in the Sidhgora Town Hall where school students would present patriotic songs and music. “The preparations for Independence Day celebrations, including the cultural evening, are being meticulously arranged,” the DC stated.
