DBMS students rally for suicide prevention

Jamshedpur, September 9: On the eve of World Suicide Prevention Day, Dramatics Club of DBMS English School staged a nukkad natak, took out a rally making people aware of about the suicide prevention along with a slogan writing contest.

The play focused on ragging in college as well as harassment and bullying faced by the adolescents. The placards carried by the students encouraged the youngsters to focus on career and bright future.

Furthermore, the programme created awareness about depression being curable. Jeevan, a local NGO, dedicated to counselling young people who face depression, has been working relentlessly in this field. The students were told about their helpline number.

This programme was witnessed by the students of the School and the moderators of the Dramatics Club.
