DBMS College of Education bids adieu to outgoing students

Jamshedpur, Feb 12: An emotional farewell ceremony was organized for the 2020-24 batch of DBMS College of Education on Tuesday. The students of the 2023-25 batch hosted the event, presenting several cultural performances and heartfelt speeches to honor their seniors. Each outgoing student was invited on stage with a PowerPoint presentation highlighting their unique qualities and achievements.

Addressing the students, Chairman of DBMS College, B. Chandrashekhar encouraged them to develop leadership skills and build strong character. He urged them to become role models for future generations. Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita motivated the students to strive for excellence and leave their mark wherever they go. “Always bring glory to the college and leave footprints on the paths you walk,” she said.

Shripriya Dharmarajan, Secretary of DBMS, awarded the title of Mr. DBMS to Parvinder and Miss DBMS to Manimala Mahato. Joint Secretary Sudha Dilip gave the Best Costume title to Laxmikant Sharma and Srishti Saloni, while Nistala Shailaja received the special title of Top Notch and Diksha was honored as Sabki Dulari.

The farewell was filled with emotional moments as students recalled the golden memories of their two-year journey. They expressed gratitude to the teachers for their continuous guidance and support. “In this college, we not only studied but also grew in all aspects of life, discovering and nurturing our hidden talents,” said one of the outgoing students.

The program was conducted by Nitish and Pooja of the third session, while Nipun delivered the vote of thanks. Priyanka, Ankur, Pammi, Neha, Shivangi, Sumedha, and Prabha played key roles in making the event a grand success. The farewell concluded with a promise to cherish and carry forward the values learned at DBMS College.
