DBMS College Jamshedpur hosts Parent-Teacher Meeting

Aims to boost student performance, parent engagement

Jamshedpur: DBMS College of Education organized a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) to promote the academic success of its students. The objective of the meeting was to establish effective communication between parents and teachers, thereby fostering cooperation in the progress and development of students.

During the meeting, teachers informed parents about various initiatives undertaken by the college. Parents received detailed feedback on their children’s academic performance and were given the opportunity to share their thoughts with the teachers. Special attention was given to students who were found to be academically weak. Teachers discussed with the parents the ways in which improvements could be brought about in these students.

The majority of parents provided positive feedback about the college and appreciated its efforts. The meeting was conducted under the guidance of College Secretary Sripriya Dharm Rajan and Joint Secretary Sudha Dilip, with enthusiastic participation from the teaching staff.

Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Vice Principal Dr. Monika Uppal, Pamela Ghosh Dutta, Archana Kumari, Dr. Surina Bhullar, Kanchan Kumari, Mousumi Dutta, Dr. Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Amrit Chaudhary played key roles in the successful execution of the event.

On this occasion, the performance of students in internal examinations was also discussed, along with plans to conduct special classes for academically weaker students. The meeting was highly successful, marked by the active participation of a large number of parents.
