DBMS College hosts FDP on andragogy in higher education

Jamshedpur, July 4: DBMS College of Education conducted an online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the topic “Role of Andragogy in Higher Education”.

The session featured Girish Kumar Sarangi as the resource person, who delivered an insightful presentation on the importance of andragogy in today’s educational landscape. His talk highlighted how adult learning strategies can enhance teaching effectiveness in higher education.

The program began with a warm welcome and formal introduction by Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Principal of DBMS College of Education. Dr. Monika Uppal, IQAC Coordinator, efficiently anchored the session, ensuring its smooth execution. Technical support was managed by Sudip Pramanik, facilitating an uninterrupted experience for all attendees.

Pamela Ghosh Dutta delivered the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the speaker, participants, and the organizing team.

Over 100 faculty members from across the country participated in the event, reflecting a strong interest in innovative teaching practices and professional development.
