NHES nurtures values beyond textbooks, says Ujjal Chakraborti
Jamshedpur, July 6: Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) hosted its Senior Prize Night on July 5, celebrating the academic excellence and holistic achievements of its senior students.
The Chief Guest for the evening was Ujjal Chakraborti, Executive In-charge of the Tinplate Division, Tata Steel Ltd.
Principal Paramita Roy Choudhury highlighted the school’s academic performance in the ICSE and ISC Examinations 2025.
In the ICSE 2025 results, Ahana Mandal emerged as the school topper in the Science stream with 98.4%, securing the 8th position in the city. She was followed by Surya Sekhar Sen with 98.2%, who ranked 9th in the city.
The ISC 2025 results brought more glory to the school. Vedant Saraswat topped the Science stream with 99%, ranking 3rd in the city. Impressively, 7 out of the top 21 city rankers in Science were from NHES.
In JEE Advanced 2025, Vedant Saraswat again led with a CRL Rank of 2247. Other notable performers included Bartika Kumar (8187), Anubhab Sen (13475), and Rajat Sekhar (24404).
During her address, Principal Paramita Roy Choudhury applauded the students’ dedication and resilience. She stressed the importance of holistic growth, balancing academics with co-curricular pursuits, and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence.
Chief Guest Ujjal Chakraborti, in his keynote address, praised the school for nurturing talent and values beyond textbooks. He urged students to remain humble and committed as they pursue their goals.
School President Nakul Kamani congratulated the students for their outstanding performance. He lauded their discipline and focus, and encouraged them to aim high in all areas of life.
Also present were Debang Gandhi, Chandrakant Zatakiya, Paresh Madia, Dharmesh Panchamia, Vijay Mehta, Meena Chandani, and other distinguished members of the school’s managing committee.
