DBMS College celebrates Jharkhand Foundation Day with enthusiasm

Students showcase talent through speech, poster, and slogan competitions

Jamshedpur, Nov 12: The NSS Unit–1 of DBMS College of Education, Kadma, celebrated Jharkhand’s Silver Jubilee with great enthusiasm to mark the 25th anniversary of the state’s foundation. The celebrations aimed to honour the state’s rich cultural heritage, unity, and progress.

Various competitions were organized in the college premises as part of the festivities. On November 11, a speech competition and a poster-making contest were held. In the speech competition, Jagriti secured the first position, Trisha Sarkar came second, and Neelu Kumari stood third. In the poster-making event, Neha Kumari Patel won first prize, followed by Shaumini Das in second place and Manju Kumari in third.

On November 12, a slogan-writing competition was organized where Srishti bagged the first position, Priya Poddar the second, and Nikki Tamsay the third.

The program was coordinated by NSS Program Officer Mrs. Poonam Kumari. The efforts of Secretary Sripriyadharmajan, Joint Secretary Mrs. Sudha Dileep, Principal Dr. Joohi Samarpita, Vice Principal Dr. Monika Uppal, faculty members, and staff were appreciated for making the event a success.

The celebration concluded with everyone expressing pride in Jharkhand’s glorious journey under the theme “Jharkhand Gaurav – Hamari Pehchaan.”
