Jamshedpur: DBMS English School celebrated International Day of Happiness on Wednesday. The theme of the day this year is �Share Happiness and be a part of Something Amazing.�
Various events were held throughout the school to spread happiness in everyone�s life. The Primary school�children put up a song and dance programme which was enjoyed by one and all. The children gave thank you cards to the Sub-staff, bringing smiles to their faces. The Middle School�and High school children enthralled the audience with�foot-tapping numbers, making all the children join in.
They thanked their parents, teachers and friends. The highlight of the day was when a group of children went to the slum areas near the station and distributed foodstuff amongst the poor. Principal of the school Rajani Shekhar provided full support in making the event successful.
In another event, a group of children of DBMS English School went to the slum areas near the Tatanagar Railway Station and Bistupur area where they distributed foodstuff amongst the poor as an effort to bring happiness on their faces.
