Jamshedpur, Sep 25: A bold daylight theft was reported at a chicken shop in Boiler New City, Sidhgora, where a youth stole a mobile phone and fled. The entire incident was captured on the shop’s CCTV camera. According to the shop owner, the suspect initially surveyed the area before entering the shop and attempting to open the cash box. Unable to unlock it, he quickly grabbed a mobile phone lying nearby and made his escape.

The shop owner has lodged a complaint with the local police, who have begun their investigation. This incident highlights the growing concern over rising thefts in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas. Increasingly, such crimes are being committed both during the day and at night, raising questions about the effectiveness of police efforts in controlling theft.
